From the 1800s into the 1900s, Providence grew into one of America’s great jewelry-making cities, and the Jewelry District near downtown still carries the name of the makers who worked in its brick buildings.
We come from the same tradition of the bench. Every 2N piece is made by hand in New York by master artisans, inspected in Quality Control, and shipped with its IGI certificate.
Late spring through early autumn is the easiest time for an outdoor proposal; in winter, choose a warm, glass-roofed or indoor setting. Here, we would look first at WaterFire, Prospect Terrace Park or Roger Williams Park.

A ring that fits on a warm July evening can feel loose in January. Size at room temperature, late in the day, and if you are between sizes, our concierge will help you choose.
For daily wear under gloves, scarves and heavy coats, bezel and low settings are the most practical. A high, open setting shows off the diamond beautifully, and asks for a quick check of the prongs after the winter.

Yes. A lab grown diamond is a real diamond, the same carbon crystal with the same hardness and fire as a mined stone. Only its origin differs. Every 2N diamond is graded and certified by the IGI, and the report travels with it.
Our house standard is Ideal cut with Excellent polish and Excellent symmetry, and every diamond is IGI certified. With access to over a million diamonds, we can find the stone that fits your shape, size and budget.
Size at room temperature, late in the day, and not right after coming in from the cold. Fingers are smaller in a Providence winter than in summer, so if you are between sizes, our concierge will help you choose. Atelier pieces are made to order in your size.
It depends on the collection. Pieces from The 2N Signature Collection may be returned within 30 days for in-house credit. Loose diamonds are final sale, and Private, Atelier and Bespoke pieces are made or reserved for you and cannot be returned.
